Living faithfully
Welcome
Welcome, and thank you for visiting us online. We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, ministrys, fellowship and service opportunities available.
We hope you will look into one of our classes, visit our blog, subscribe to our newsletter or volunteer your skills to one of our ministries to serve our community and share your love for our Saviour.
Please feel free to read more about our church on this site, or come in for a visit. We love connecting with our community!
Our Mission
Our mission is to be fully devoted to the gospel of Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We do not exclude or restrict access to anyone who seeks to learn or embrace the Word.
We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church to anyone seeking truth and salvation.
We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity.
Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we know that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
Statement of Faith
We affirm the Sovereignty of God, the Lordship of Jesus Christ and central importance of the Scriptures in shaping our lives and our life together.
We believe that church is for the proclamation of the Gospel for the guidance and salvation of humankind; the shelter, nurture, and spiritual fellowship of the children of God; the maintenance of divine worship; the preservation of the truth; the promotion of social righteousness; and the exhibition of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world.
Services & Calendar
The First Presbyterian Church of Olathe is alive and well long after it was declared closed. This Sunday we will discuss a form of worship used by the original disciples in their zeal and determination to spread the good news about Jesus Christ, despite difficulties and dangers. All attendees will be encouraged to add to this discussion. We believe acceptance of this challenge to become a disciple or lead others to discipleship is the key to rebirth of our community of saints in the Olathe Presbyterian Church. On this Memorial Day, please join us in memory of those who have gone before and in planning our future, in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
